Austin Central Library
Designed by renowned regional architecture firm Lake|Flato, along with national design firm Shepley Bulfinch, the 198,000-square-foot building represents a significant moment in the creation of Austin’s civic community space. Stated in the Austin Curbed article, “The structure connects beautifully with its surroundings from both indoor and outdoor spaces, and its design is a perfect example of the kind of ‘Central Texas modernism’ that made Lake|Flato’s reputation as well as one that is completely apt for its specific site.” Built with Lueders Roughback wall cladding, the project reflects the versatility of this material. This landmark showcases its strength, sustainability, and timeless architectural appeal.

Charles Schwab Headquarters – Westlake Texas
A “modern ranch”, Says Glenn Cooper of Charles Schwab. Original Dallas Morning News Article found in the Westlake Texas Archive Article 1704. “Designed by Dallas architect Corgan, Schwab’s new buildings have wide stretches of glass, sloping roofs and balconies, and use polished wood and rough stone on both the inside and exteriors. Mesquite wood and Texas (Cordova Cream Limestone from Continental Cut Stone) were used in some areas.

Facing Austin’s Bull Creek, this 56,237 sq. ft. design takes advantage of the natural slope of the land, the building is nestled into the natural limestone valley. PGA – HQ – Frisco Texas
Overcoming the Covid Supply Chain Challenges, the PGA HQ masterfully was guided by Brazos Masonry and Adolfson & Peterson for the right execution. Per the project page for Page Architects, found here, they worked within the local context and climate as well as utilizing appropriate building materials that helps to create a unique and iconic facility. The use of stone, for example, is important in creating identity, and its implementation is honest, while at the same time efficient and economical. Utilizing stone that is quarried regionally and is of a robust depth both improves the building’s energy performance as well as creates the character of Texas architecture.

Austin State Hospital – Austin Texas
A unique privilege to join as a material provider to one of the most cherished projects in the healthcare world. Per the Page project description found here, “the Austin State Hospital project unfolded, layers of history were uncovered. The hospital once served as a working farm, complete with physician residences. Staff and patients alike tended to animals, crops, and the campus. More than 12,000 artifacts were discovered on the grounds, some of which — an antique sewing machine, art deco sign, images, lots of buttons.”
