Academy Museum of Motion Pictures: - Los Angeles California

The first phase of the program focused on structural repair of the building’s façades. The program stabilized the stone cladding panels using helical friction anchors and repaired damaged panels. Large spalls were cleaned and patched and corroded metal removed. Remaining steel was cleaned and protected from further corrosion; concrete and grout behind the panels were repaired; and matching stone Deutchmans were pinned to the façade using the helical anchors. This comprehensive process involved limestone restoration Perth services, ensuring a solid foundation for future limestone floor restoration, as well as integration of marble limestone restoration techniques.

Hall of State – Fair Park – Dallas Texas
“The Hall of State is a really hearty building of limestone and robust, steel frame structure,” according to Brian Nicodemus, AIA, project manager at architecture firm Gensler who oversaw its $14.4 million restoration. “Even though constructed on a rushed timeline, it was never meant to be a temporary building. All the detail work is well thought-out and immaculately done, and it has survived quite well.”

St. Austin Catholic Church – Austin Texas

The Austin Texas landmark church was deteriorating and losing its touch of beauty. We (Brazos Masonry) were given the challenge to make it look new. Over 75% of the stone was restored material. Much of the stone could not be removed so it was restored in place. When meeting with the owner, the message was clear, “We want our building to look new and by the way, we worship God every week and there cannot be any interference.” We also had to consider the location being on a very busy Guadalupe right at the UT campus and a much-used sidewalk.
